Title: Professor Erwin Tiongson Wins Gerald M. Mara Faculty Mentoring Award

Congratulations to Professor Erwin Tiongson who was awarded the Gerald M. Mara Faculty Mentoring Award. This award recognizes a faculty member at Georgetown who exemplifies the spirit of cura personalis or “care for the entire person” in aiding the academic and professional development of graduate students.

Professor Tiongson is currently both the Professor of the Practice of International Affairs and Concentration Chair for International Development for the Masters of Science in Foreign Service; as well as the instructor for GHDP 506 (Evaluation of Programs and Projects) and program mentor for Global Human Development students. He will also be transitioning to join GHD full time as the new Deputy Director in fall 2019.
