Christopher Metzger joins the GHD program after working at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) for three and a half years. Chris’s research offered policy recommendations for tackling global challenges in developing countries such as corruption, urban water development, youth unemployment, and financing for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. While at CSIS, Chris led case study trips to Australia, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Liberia, Taiwan, and Uganda. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Washington and Lee University. At Georgetown, Chris plans to focus on urbanization efforts and economic development programs in sub-Saharan Africa.
