Title: DC Internship – Center for Social Justice

Interning in Washington, DC while enrolled in the GHD program provides an invaluable opportunity for professional growth and expanding studentsโ€™ professional networks. Students who intern are able to develop professional skills, enhance their resumes, refine their career objectives, and build on lessons learned in academic coursework. GHD students are required to have at least one internship during their course of study, in addition to their summer internship, that builds skills and knowledge in their area of specialization.

There are countless options for DC internships, so students can find work that they are interested in. Students are welcome to do more than one internship throughout their time at GHD, depending on their goals.

GHD’22 student Jasmine Ashby discusses her DC Internship as a Center for Social Justice Intern and how it has helped her moving forward.
