Feier Zhao
Class of 2023
Feier Zhao joins GHD after two years of professional experience in the social impact sector in the U.S. and China. Her most recent work was with Purpose in Motion (PIM), an education social enterprise based in Beijing, China. At PIM, Feier assisted the CEO and program managers in developing revenue streams to accelerate PIM’s growth, led communications with clients, managed grants disbursement and proposal submission process, and conducted market research to inform PIM’s business strategy. Before PIM, Feier worked as a Global Campaigns Associate at Ashoka, producing communication content to spotlight Ashoka fellows' impact worldwide and supporting fundraising efforts.
Originally from Beijing, China, Feier graduated magna cum laude with a dual bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Applied Psychology & Human Development from Boston College. At GHD, Feier focuses on evidence-based approach to impact measurement to better understand and manage social and environmental impacts and explores how to mobilize private capital for the public good.
During the summer, Feier interned as a Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) intern with the Managing for Results team at World Resources Institute. In her role, she supported the adoption of WRI's new M&E system DevResults, conducted desk research and literature reviews on climate indicators, and built PowerBI dashboards to visualize ongoing project data. Feier hopes to continue to explore the intersection of impact evaluation, climate change, and social finance in her second year of study.
