Sexual Reproductive Health Resource Mobilization & Cash and Voucher Gender Sensitivity Review
This summer, I worked as a dual placed intern at CARE International. As the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights in Emergency (SRHRiE) Intern, I led an SRHRiE resource mobilization mapping exercise to evaluate and prioritize current CARE donors and new donors and provide recommendations for donor engagement. I conducted this mapping exercise through key informant interviews (12+) with CARE member partners (CMPSs) and reviewing donor funding trends over the last five years. The final deliverables for this internship included a pitch deck for SRHRiE resource mobilization, donor profiles, and tip sheets for engaging donors, CMPs, and Country offices with SRHRiE.
Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) intern, I led the evaluation of five CARE Country offices, assessing the gender sensitivity of their Cash and Voucher assistance. In this role, I developed participant and country-level surveys, conducted country office interviews, and analyzed participant interviews, country office interviews, and country-level CVA reports (ex: RGAs). The final deliverables for this internship included:
- A CARE CVA Gender Sensitivity Learning Review
- An Analysis Connecting CARE’s research to their strategy
- A Brief evaluating engagement and utilization of CARE CVA guidance, tools, and studies
