Camila Linneman
Class of 2021
Camila Linneman joins GHD after five years of working with Creative Associates International, a USAID implementing partner. Most recently, Camila was based in Abuja, Nigeria for two and a half years, serving as a member of the Senior Management Team for USAID’s premier program addressing the regional threat of Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa (ISWA) in North East Nigeria. In this role, she led the Grants and Engineering teams to design and implement small grants, including to restore telecommunications networks in population centers in Borno State and rehabilitate libraries in girls’ secondary schools. Prior to joining Creative, Camila graduated Summa Cum Laude from American University with a B.A. in International Studies and a Minor in Economics. During her undergraduate studies, she worked at the U.S. Department of State and the Council on Foreign Relations. A New York native, Camila was born in São Paulo, Brazil and speaks Portuguese. Camila is joining GHD to deepen her understanding of how best foreign assistance can be used effectively in conflict contexts. She hopes to return to a field role on a foreign assistance program after graduation and bring to bear the technical, managerial, and policy analysis skills GHD has to offer.
