Elaina Faust
Class of 2022
Elaina joins the GHD program with four years of project management experience at Epic Systems, an Electronic Medical Record company based in Madison, WI. At Epic, Elaina led teams of project managers partnering with healthcare organizations in the U.S. and abroad to leverage technology to provide safer and more efficient outpatient care. At Georgetown, Elaina plans to specialize in Global Health and continue to explore the intersection of technology and public health in the developing world. Elaina’s interest in development began while volunteering with the International Rescue Committee resettling refugees in her hometown of Charlottesville, VA. After college, Elaina traveled to Nosy Be, Madagascar with a nonprofit called Code for Humanity which offers free courses in information technology and web design. Elaina graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Claremont McKenna College where she majored in International Relations and French. She is also proficient in Italian, having studied abroad in both France and Italy, and plans to study Swahili while at GU.
