Jimmy Vulembera
Class of 2021
Jimmy matriculates in the GHD program after working in Risk Management at a multinational financial services firm, and in Advisory at a Big Four Accounting firm. Most recently, Jimmy worked as the Operational and Market Risk Officer for Citi in Kinshasa where he was influential in ensuring country-specific risk frameworks implementation, Effective Control environment, and Risk Indicators Improvement. As part of his second line of defense role, Jimmy also engaged business to avert Operational and Market Risk losses, and comply with regulatory requirements on risk management. Before that, he was an Advisory Analyst at KPMG, where he worked on Accounting Advisory, Projects Audits, and other forensics assignments.
Jimmy is from the DR Congo, and speaks English, French, and Swahili. He holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from Brandeis University’s International Business School where he was a Fulbright Scholar, and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Financial Management with Distinction from the Université Catholique du Graben.
