As a second-year student in the GHD program, Christian is pursuing specializations in Food, Agriculture, and Rural Livelihoods and Quantitative Analysis and Evaluation. This past summer, he worked for TechnoServe as an Impact and Market Engagement Fellow, leading an impact report for a program facilitating private sector-led development of the poultry and horticulture industries in northern Mozambique.
Prior to joining GHD, Christian focused on issues related to agriculture and food security, working with farmers and beekeepers to improve agricultural and business management practices as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon. Additionally, he has worked with a Cameroonian NGO on sustainable community development, farm training curriculum, donor outreach, and grant writing and translation. Christian has also volunteered on organic farms and held a variety of roles at farm-to-table restaurants.
Christian hails from Austin, Texas and received a B.A. in International Economics from the University of Notre Dame. Christian speaks English, French, and Fulfulde, and enjoys playing music in his free time.
