Social Investments
I spent the summer working as a stakeholder engagement intern at NDPI (Niger Delta Partnership Initiative), a U.S.-based non-profit established by Chevron Corporation, an implementing partner of the Nigeria-based PIND (Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta). I worked on two of Chevron’s social investment and public-private partnership projects: Chevron and USAID’s $100 million investment to improve stability in Nigeria’s Niger Delta Region, and a private sector engagement teaching model starting at Harvard University.
In addition to these projects, I helped to expand NDPI’s stakeholder engagement plan/roadmap. I was given high visibility at various organizations during my internship with access to and the opportunity to engage with senior executives. This was immensely valuable to my experience.
