Emma Edwards spent three years with the Peace Corps in Benin as an agricultural volunteer. In her third year, she facilitated data collection, research, and technology training for BeninCaju, a Catholic Relief Services project that trains farmers on best agricultural practices. During her time as a GHD student, she has held internships at the World Bank Global Agriculture Practice and the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition. She has also participated in the 2018 Social Innovation Lab for Food Security and the 2019 Georgetown Africa Business Conference. She is specializing in agriculture and speaks French.
