Gabriele Cruz Sabino

Gabriele Cruz Sabino is Brazilian and deeply cares about bringing significant and positive changes to vulnerable people's lives and contribute to poverty alleviation. Most recently, she has been working at Delivery Associates to create a worldwide network of cities interested in sharing and replicating evidence-based successful public innovations that tackle development challenges.
Before DA, she worked at Teach for All Brazil, training public-school teachers on digital teaching techniques to avoid increasing the learning gap due to the pandemic. She directly impacted 2.5k public-school teachers from all over Brazil, indirectly impacting +500k students. She also worked at Endeavor Brazil - a global NGO that stimulates high-impact entrepreneurship to drive economic development - and at Emmkan - an educational social business in Egypt focused on youth socioemotional and leadership development. Gabriele holds a B.A. in Economic Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná, being the first in her family to earn a higher-education academic degree. Besides speaking Portuguese and English, Gabriele is also proficient in German, Spanish, and familiar with French and Italian.
As a GHD student, Gabriele is excited to expand her knowledge about education, social and government innovation for economic development. She aims to support countries most affected by human capital gaps by helping them solve the challenges of promoting high-quality and effective public services for equity and poverty reduction.
