Haikal joins Global Human Development after gaining some professional experience in Communications and Program Management. After graduating from the State Islamic University of Jakarta with a Bachelor of International Relations, he worked as a communications consultant in a PR Consultancy Firm and extended his journey as a Program Officer in an education and career tech start-up company afterward. Over the years, he has found interest in youth movement and community development. Haikal was partaking in building several youth initiatives like Generasi Emas, a foundation that encourages many young Indonesians to progressively improve their personal capacity. Also, WE Ternate, a local youth-led organization that focuses on educating and finding solutions for diverse issues in Indonesia’s rural area. At Georgetown, Haikal is keenly interested in education and human capital. He hopes this opportunity could help in understanding and creating sustainable solutions for various issues that the community experiences.
