Jason Mann
Class of 2020
Jason Mann graduated cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from James
Madison University (JMU) in 2016 with a B.A. in International Affairs
and a minor in Economics. Upon graduating from JMU, Jason taught
English as a Foreign Language first in Linares, Chile with the Chilean
Ministry of Education, and later in Cali, Colombia on a Fulbright
Scholarship. At Georgetown, Jason has concentrated his coursework
in Education and Human Capital while deepening his quantitative
research skills with courses in Econometrics and Cost Benefit
Analysis. During his summer field work, Jason worked for the Pan
American Development Foundation (PADF) in Mexico City. With
PADF he conducted monitoring and evaluation for two post-
earthquake reconstruction projects in Morelos and Oaxaca states. His
senior capstone project also involved field work in Mexico and
investigated the reach and impact of STEM education in Queretaro
City. Following graduation, Jason plans to bring his strong field
experience and research skills gained at Georgetown to a program
management role focused on education initiatives in Latin America.
