Jean-Marc Bernard is a global education expert with three decades of experience spanning Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Caribbean. Jean-Marc has spearheaded initiatives to enhance education quality, promote evidence-informed decision-making, and drive systemic change in education systems worldwide. With a strong focus on research, policy, and institutional strengthening, he has held leadership roles at various international organizations such as the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), UNESCO-Dakar, PASEC-CONFEMEN. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Burgundy (France). As the founder of La Chouette LLC, Dr. Bernard advises governments and organizations that aim to drive transformation in education and social sectors.
Dr. Bernard holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Burgundy and has taught on international education at institutions including University of Burgundy and University Grenoble Alpes. His work is grounded in evidence-based policymaking and a commitment to addressing global education challenges.
