Ksenia Dubova
Class of 2025
Ksenia Dubova was born in Zaporizhzhia in southeast Ukraine, presently war-torn. As a graduate of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she studied Public Relations and Advertising.
In October 2016, Ksenia started a European Solidarity Corps program in Croatia. Her tasks were focused on informing Croatian youth about educational and mobility opportunities. Later, she received a scholarship to study Indonesian language and culture at Bali State Polytechnic University in Indonesia. In 2020, Ksenia spent 5 months volunteering in Israel, where she contributed to the local community in Mitzpe Ramon and taught English in both Jewish and Bedouin communities. Ksenia then returned to Ukraine where she worked as an EducationUSA Adviser at American Councils for International Education, where she supported educational development in Ukraine.
Advocating for young Ukrainians motivates her to work in human development. Ksenia envisions educational development in Ukraine through structural reforms in government policies, which can be made possible by promoting equality, justice and fighting against corruption.
