Catalyzing and Measuring Investment to Social Enterprises
This summer, I interned with the AlphaMundi Foundation, a non-profit with a mission to catalyze and scale private sector investment to social enterprises working to improve the lives of the poor. The Foundation is the sister organization to the AlphaMundi Group, an impact advisory firm investing in early and growth-stage enterprises across sectors in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
I had the privilege of supporting the Foundation on a range of projects throughout my internship. I led the development of AlphaMundi’s 2021 impact report; contributed to deliverables for Foundation’s donor-funded programming that delivers pre and post-investment catalytic technical assistance to SMEs, and contributed to two thought leadership pieces: one on blended finance solutions during COVID-19, and one on gender-smart technical assistance to SMEs.
