Natasha Todi
Class of 2026
Natasha Todi served as the program manager for the Asia Pacific region at Human Rights Information and Documentation Systems (HURIDOCS). In this role, she led strategic engagements across Asia and the Pacific, managing projects and partnerships with human rights defenders and organizations. Her work encompassed evidence gathering, information management, technological innovation, and community engagement. Natasha collaborated closely with communities in various countries such as Burma, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Indonesia and China, providing technical support and capacity building to establish databases addressing key human rights issues. She has extensive experience in investigative methodologies, data modeling, secure database setup, and data-driven storytelling.
Prior to her role at HURIDOCS, Natasha conducted research with the Centre for Social Inclusion and Federalism in Nepal, focusing on the treatment of Tibetan refugees and exploring the impact of statelessness. She also engaged with memory studies, conflict and peace research in South Asia.
Natasha has an academic background in history and international relations, and she is certified in Open Source Investigations (OSINT) by the International Institute of Criminal Investigations at the Hague. She hails from Kathmandu, Nepal.
