Tessa comes to GHD having spent the last two years in Dodoma, Tanzania with Jesuit Volunteer Corps, teaching Information and Communications Technology at St. Peter Claver High School. Born in Belgium and raised in the US, she also speaks fluent Dutch. She later studied Spanish and picked up conversational Swahili while in TZ. She holds a BA in International Political Economy from Fordham University, with minors in Peace & Justice Studies and American Catholic Studies. Inspired by the students she met and taught, Tessa hopes to engage in youth development and capacity-building.
